An upgrade to the remote-control layer
Your lift controller operates the equipment. AirRemote provides a connected path to supported remote commands. This distinction matters when comparing a complete controller kit with a retrofit: a gateway does not replace damaged motor controls, correct wiring faults, or add missing mechanical safeguards.
Useful control for a shared dock
Use your own account to access supported commands, review command history, and see gateway connectivity. Share access with family or caretakers through their accounts. Available commands depend on the equipment and configuration; connectivity status is not a measurement of lift height.
Compare the whole setup before you buy
Start with the remote model and controller, then consider where the gateway will connect. A smart upgrade is useful only when the original equipment works and the local connection is reliable.
- Identify the brand, remote model, and operating mode.
- Check Wi-Fi coverage and internet access near the lift.
- Confirm which commands and status information your integration supplies.
- Review installation requirements and the complete price before ordering.

Frequently asked questions
Does smart control mean unattended automation?
No. Remote access and supported scheduling do not establish that a lift is safe to run unattended. Follow the lift manufacturer’s supervision requirements and use only commands appropriate for your setup.
