AIRREMOTE

CONNECTED CONTROL, WHERE YOU NEED IT

AirRemote compatibility with GEM boat lift remotes

AirRemote includes a GEM remote integration that learns and transmits supported commands. Compatibility depends on the remote, receiver setup, gateway hardware, and control mode—not simply the GEM name.

What stays in place

The existing lift controller continues to operate the lift. AirRemote adds a gateway alongside the remote-control system. It does not replace motor wiring, limit switches, the receiver’s protections, or the lift’s mechanical equipment.

Supported control concepts

The integration includes up, down, and stop commands for supported configurations, with separate handling for continuous-operation configurations. The app exposes the commands configured for that device; do not assume every listed command is available on every remote.

How setup is approached

First identify the remote and controller. Confirm a supported operating mode and suitable gateway hardware, connect the gateway to Wi-Fi, and follow the learning flow for the compatible remote. Complete supervised command checks before relying on the configuration. The linked GEM upgrade guide explains what information to gather.

Limits to confirm before ordering

There is no published universal model guarantee here. A missing or inoperative transmitter can affect learning. Gateway connectivity and command history do not provide a physical position sensor. Ask support to review your model and normal control behavior before purchasing.

Frequently asked questions

Does support include every GEM controller ever made?

No such claim is established. Support must be confirmed for your exact remote, configuration, and gateway hardware.
