Keep a working controller in service
AirRemote learns supported remote commands and makes them available through its gateway. The retrofit concerns remote access, not replacement of the lift’s electrical controller. It is not a repair for a receiver that no longer responds or a lift that cannot operate correctly using its approved controls.
Match your remote’s operating mode
The AirRemote integration distinguishes supported GEM control configurations, including continuous-operation modes. The commands and timing available in the app depend on that configuration. A brand match alone is insufficient: your remote identity, model, and operating behavior need to be checked.
What to tell us about your GEM setup
When you join the preorder list, include the remote and controller model information you can read without opening energized equipment. Describe whether normal operation uses a brief press or requires holding a button. If the remote is missing or broken, say so; learning may depend on a working compatible remote.
From local control to connected access
A suitable gateway connects to Wi-Fi near the lift and is configured with the supported remote. You then use AirRemote’s available commands from the app or dashboard. Review the compatibility page and setup guide before deciding whether this approach fits your dock.
