Identify the exact door and connectivity
Read the model label and check the documentation supplied with your door. Confirm that your particular model supports Bluetooth control. A timer, light sensor, or automatic opening feature does not establish that the door has Bluetooth or can connect to AirRemote.
- Record the exact model and any revision shown on the label.
- Confirm which Bluetooth controls work using the door manufacturer's supported setup.
- Describe any changes to the door or controller when asking about compatibility.
What AirRemote adds
The gateway connects locally to a supported door over Bluetooth and reaches the AirRemote service through Wi-Fi with internet access. You can then use available open and close commands from the web dashboard or mobile app without keeping your phone near the coop. The door does not become a standalone Wi-Fi device.
Check the installation location
The gateway must stay within a reliable Bluetooth connection of the door and within Wi-Fi coverage. Check both connections at the intended location. Plan power and environmental protection according to the supplied gateway requirements; the door's outdoor rating does not establish a rating for the gateway.
Keep existing routines coordinated
Review the door's built-in timers and light-sensor settings before adding AirRemote schedules. Confirm physical opening and closing while present, and use only the status information provided by your integration. An online gateway or accepted command alone does not prove that the door moved or that the coop is secure.
Confirm before ordering

Frequently asked questions
Does AirRemote support every RUN-CHICKEN T50 or T80?
No blanket compatibility is promised. Support depends on the exact model and Bluetooth capability. Include your model details so compatibility can be reviewed before buying.
Can AirRemote add Bluetooth to a timer-only chicken door?
AirRemote uses supported existing Bluetooth controls. A door with no compatible Bluetooth interface is not established as supported by this integration.
